Job Description

This is a remote position.

SportsKeeda is looking for a Fortnite content writer who can help cover various aspects of the popular Battle Royale. This includes Save The World, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival. The applicant should be well versed with Fortnite’s history through the chapters, have in-depth understanding of the game’s mechanics, storyline, lore, narrative and should be an active member in the community.

The applicant will be expected to generate article ideas when needed and deliver breaking news (challenges, updates, announcements) quickly and efficiently. The candidate should be well versed with top streamers/pros like SypherPK, NickEh30, Ninja, Tfue, Ali-A, Lazarbeam, Loserfruit, Muselk, Clix, Ronaldo, Bugha, Mongraal, Benjyfishy, etc.

The candidate should have a comprehensive idea about the competitive Fortnite community as well. Knowledge about competitive Fortnite and contacts with young professional players and organizations will be considered an add-on.
Please note: US Candidates preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Able to work under deadlines and deliver work quickly and efficiently.
  
• Articles should not have a once of plagiarism, falsified facts, in-game errors, idea theft, clout-farming, click-baiting, and should not be derogatory in any form.
  
• Can keep track of trending topics around the game and can break them on time.
  
• Expected to develop a knowledge base for trends, news, fresh content from creators etc.
  
• Should be able to write on the current season’s best weapons, landing spots, meta changes, and storyline.

Requirements

• Applicants must be highly motivated.
  
• Relevant experience in writing and editing.
  
• Decent understanding of the game and its lore so far
  
• A good grasp of the English language and the ability to communicate niche ideas to a wide-spread audience.
  
• Past work samples (if Any)
